Why Is My Upload Speed Slow?
Common reasons upload speed is weaker than download speed.
Many home internet plans are designed with higher download speed than upload speed. This is normal for many cable, 5G and some fiber plans.
Slow upload can also come from cloud backup, video calls, router overload, weak Wi-Fi or network congestion.
To troubleshoot, pause backups, move closer to the router, test with Ethernet and compare results at different times.

- Compare Wi-Fi and Ethernet when possible.
- Check download, upload, ping and jitter together.
