Public Wi-Fi can be convenient, but it is less trusted than your home network. Avoid sensitive tasks on unknown networks when possible.
Use HTTPS websites, keep your device updated and avoid accepting suspicious popups or certificates.
A speed test can show performance, but it does not prove that a public network is safe.
