Ping and Jitter Explained
Ping measures response time. Jitter measures how stable that response time is.
Ping
Ping is the time it takes for a small request to reach a server and return to your device. Lower ping is better.
Jitter
Jitter is the variation between ping samples. Lower jitter means a more stable connection.
Why it matters
Gaming, video meetings and voice calls need low ping and low jitter more than very high download speed.
